Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. - 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
This is a picture of my 5 year old doing his "tricks" on his bike in the backyard with his self-made ramp ( three old logs from the fire pit and the entry rug from the patio...nothing's sacred in my house! :).
This child particularly does not lack courage and strength in physical things, but my prayer is that both of my sons will be men of courage and strong in FAITH! And that they will do everything in LOVE!

Just as I was looking at the picture and starting to read your comment, I was wondering if that was your child. No, I don't think he lacks confidence. Such a sweet picture.
Love the verse.
Blessings!

I just came across you site and I must say I love the concept of becoming a Timothy mom. I have raised and released 2 godly men into the adult world. For 19 years I have been writing and teaching Bible studies for moms. I have crossed over from a TImothy mom to a Titus 2 women. I am investing my life in raising the next generations of godly moms like yourself. I write a blog at http://jeanstockdale.typepad.com/ and I have a website at www.jeanstockdale.com if you are interested. I would love to hear from you. I think we share the same heart for the Lord. Blessings. Jean Stockdale

It's a big responsibility, raising a boy. I have the two girls, but it is very different... just as wonderful, but a different kind of responsibility.
Love the pictures -
