I guarantee a Timothy Mom or Dad has been training this little one!
How precious!I think children can start learning scripture a lot earlier than many of us think they can. When my children were very little, an older woman taught a class in which she mentioned teaching your children the ABC's and the Bible at the same time -- Give you toddlers short verses, one for each letter of the alphabet. X is the only letter that we couldn't find a Bible phrase or verse for, but we got around that by using the word Excellent, as in Excellent is thy name. When I was somewhere under 10, I had a Sunday School teacher who made learning Bible verses fun. She had us keep a scrapbook, and she gave us very pretty illustrations of scripture that we could decorate and paste into the scrapbook. I think verses I memorized helped me recognize and come back to the truth when I wandered from it in college. I might not have consciously been thinking about them, but they were in my heart and helped me finally get the big picture.
I wrote a comment earlier, but not sure if I got it through correctly. Anyhow, this is precious. I think getting the word into a child's heart at a young age is so wonderful.
I believe so, too! She was precious. Thanks for stopping by the Well this morning!
