Tuesdays For Timothy Moms- Sick days

Today's a sick day in our house. My 3 year old went to bed with diarrhea and woke up 3 times in the night vomiting. This morning I found myself on the floor in the living room on a pallate of blankets with my little sick one surrounded by the smell of vomit. The couch cannot be sat on, since all the cushions are being washed of the barfies. And there's a pile of upholstery and linens along with pillows to be washed. Oh and there's also that big splatter stain in the middle of the living room...bring out the steam cleaner!

So as I got up I thought, "Now here's one of those clear opportunities to be a Timothy Mom. To labor in love, to lay aside my plans and agenda and just minister unto the Lord in vomit clean up, sips of cool water, and lots of snuggles!"
